I sometimes come across people during my events who doubt the influence of body language or simply don’t believe it is such an important part of life. They usually agree it is important when giving formal presentations and the like, but when it comes to daily activities it is something that’s just there in the background. Often these people attend the seminar because their boss is making them go, or they feel they have to attend as part of their career development plan. In other words, they are physically present but not necessarily mentally or emotionally engaged in the process.
