It is time we understand that we are not living in our own strength, or by it. We have mighty helpers. The swiftness of angels far exceeds that of the fastest humans. Apparently angels can travel faster than the speed of sound or light and be by our side in an instant. Yea, whiles I was speaking in prayer, even the man Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, being caused to fly swiftly, touched me about the time of the evening oblation (Daniel 9:21). And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people (Revelation 14:6).
Watchers. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven. . This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men (Daniel 4:13,17). This name speaks of angels' divine assignment by God as agents or supervisors. There is a kingdom just beyond our senses that is filled with these angelic watchers, agents of God who watch over us.

Gabriel visited Joseph, Mary's betrothed, and calmed his fears about Mary's purity. But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife; for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost (Matthew 1:20).
